The team behind Towntickers, a TikTok and Instagram account on a quest to "poetically" review towns across the country, has paid a visit to Lowestoft.

They previously praised Clare, describing it as a place "packed with flair" and rating it a staggering six and a half out of seven.

But their review of Lowestoft begins on a less-than-positive note.

"Is this Suffolk seaside town dreary and hopeless? Or is there more to it? Let's find out," they said.

"The next town that was holding up aloft is the mighty Suffolk........
