Historic home with lineage to former Secretary of State for sale at £850,000
Loreto stands on a corner plot of the previous Grange Estate. The home was constructed in 1902 for Emma and Alice Petre, descendants of William Petre (1505-1572), a former Secretary of State who served under four Tudor monarchs including Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I.

Loreto features in Pevsner’s guide to architecture in Suffolk, with selling agent Minors & Brady saying the home’s “rich lineage and impressive design sets it apart from the rest”.
