Proposed expansion of industrial estate refused after neighbour's backlash
Broadland District Council refused plans to develop land at the Downham Grove Industrial Estate, in Wymondham, to increase car parking and storage facilities there.
The plans, which included providing 13 self-storage containers and 29 parking spaces, were described as having a "significant adverse impact on the local and natural environment" by the council.
There are currently 13 units which provide premises to 10 separate businesses, including car servicing, a blacksmith, a Lambretta restoration company and a signs business.
