Known as the Norwich Research Park (NRP) Zone 5 development, the plans would see 860,000sqft of land converted for research and development, plus hospital and hospital-related uses and other ancillary uses.

It comes as part of the John Innes Centre and the Sainsbury Laboratory joint £317m Next Generation Infrastructure (NGI) programme.

The proposed space, south of the established NRP, will provide an extension to the existing site for further science, IT, medical, hospital-related and associated development opportunities.
