Neighbours living near site of stabbing too scared to leave their homes at night
One woman who lives in a flat near The Grove, Woodcock Road in NR3 revealed that she won’t walk to nearby shops at night and worries about the future of her child growing up in the neighbourhood.
It comes as an unnamed woman in her 20s was stabbed in the area on Monday night and the suspect – another woman – remains on the run.
Along with being shocked by the stabbing, people living in the flats raised fears about an increase in knife-related crime in the city.

'I WON'T WALK TO THE SHOPS AT NIGHT'
Becky Wilkinson, who's lived opposite the flats for 15 years, said: "To have a stabbing happen nearby is very out of the ordinary.
"I certainly wouldn't walk to the shops or anywhere else here at night.
"I'm also concerned for the future as I have a young child and while most of these incidents are isolated, I definitely wouldn't want them getting caught up in things.
"There are areas nearby which are getting worse.
