After a hugely successful debut in 2024, the Cringleford Cup - hosted by Cringleford Junior Football Club - came back for another weekend of grassroots football across August 2 and 3 at Easton College.

The tournament boasted 128 teams with roughly 1,000 players, aged between six and 14, coming from around the world taking part in one of eight group brackets - U7s to U14s.

Chris Good, who coaches the U10s at Cringleford FC, said: "We had teams from France, Germany and even Kuwait, come to take part in the tournament.

"It was a weekend of fast-paced, inclusive football played on top-quality grass and 3G pitches.
