The incident happened at Sea Palling just after 9.30am on Friday.

Humber Coastguard alerted the volunteer crew at Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat who sprang into action.

But they were stood down before the lifeboat could be launched as a paddleboarder had gone out to rescue them.
