The railway, which runs from Sheringham to Holt, is hosting events to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The Festival on Rails will run from August 23 to 28 and will see four steam engines take to the line.

The Summer Steam Gala will then take place from August 29 to 31 with six engines in action each day.

Many of the locomotives have a historic connection to the North Norfolk Railway (NNR) - including Hunslet Austerity locomotive........
