Bixley Manor sits in a small village near Trowse and was once the home of Sir Timothy Colman and his wife Lady Mary.

She was the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and served as an extra lady-in-waiting to Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy.
