Omaze given FORTNIGHT to resolve £6m home prize that breached planning rules

The company has been told it has until March 25 to respond to North Norfolk District Council (NNDC)'s recommendations for action it needs to take at the Larkfields property in Blakeney.

The council issued the update after completing an investigation which ruled that the home breaches planning rules, as it has not been built in accordance to the application approved in 2020.

Its deadline is four days after the new owner of the property is due to be announced, as the winner of Omaze's Comic Relief prize draw, live on BBC One on Red Nose Day.

The council's recommendations have not been made public but are likely to involve requiring the firm to apply for retrospective permission for elements of the property that have breached rules.
