Nicole Rivett, the former owner of Flowers Nicole, has put her stamp on her new site, Buds 2 Blooms, by displaying memorabilia from her former business.

Ms Rivett decided to close Flowers Nicole in Norwich railway station less than a month after Greater Anglia issued her an eviction notice.

But she said she is grateful to take on Buds 2 Blooms, a much larger space in New Costessey.

She said: "I have decorated the shop with lots of train station memorabilia.

"The desk, banners and card collections have come with us.

"We still sell our cards with old train station posters on them.

"That shop is in our DNA.

"I will miss that space, but I am very much enjoying the benefits that this wonderful space has to offer."

Ms Rivett officially opened Buds 2 Blooms in Three Mile Lane on the Tuesday before Valentine's.

Vicky Daniels, the former owner of the site, left the business in January after more than 15 years at the helm.

Ms Rivett said: "I want to look after the shop.

"I am very grateful to Vicky for passing it over to me.

"The shop has been in the area for more than 20 years.

"Everyone was popping in while refurbishments were ongoing.

"It's much bigger than our previous store and there is room to display our custom-made flower cart.

"We have a beautiful flower display, consultation corner, plant area and a card corner."

Ms Daniels said she has "sacrificed" a lot of time away from her family over the years working at the shop.

In 2025 the florist was put on the market with a guide price of £30,000.
