First look inside new family-run coffee shop opening in the city

Oliver Lee-Stevens, owner of OP Coffee Co, says he wants the cafe to appeal to the older generation.

He added that the coffee shop has opened in honour of his grandad, Peter Reginald Stevens.

Mr Lee-Stevens said: “It has been emotional at times setting up the shop.

“Some of the décor belonged to my granddad.

“We want the shop to tell a story and bring that classic coffee shop feel back to the city.”

Mr Lee-Stevens’ brother, Harry Stevens, will manage the shop in Bank Plain.
