James and Ed Brooks, the directors of Property Ladder, have secured a second location in Patteson Road.

The estate agents has been based in Spixworth since 2015, but James believes it is the perfect time to expand to NR3.

He said: "The office is in a fantastic location, close to the Anglia Square development, but still very much within the established residential community.

“There are thousands of Victorian terraces, apartments and city homes nearby, as well as some fantastic local pubs such as The Whalebone and The Rosebery.

"It’s a vibrant, up-and-coming part of the city with a strong sense of community, and we think it’s a great time to be part of that.”

The new branch will be managed by Laurence Rouse, who has worked for Property Ladder for seven years.

He said: “Laurence knows the business extremely well and, importantly, he also lives in NR3 himself, so he understands the local market and the community.

"Most people first engage with estate agents online but we strongly believe in being available to people face to face when they want advice about moving.

“We’re aiming to open the doors in early April, and we’re really looking forward to becoming part of the neighbourhood.”

The business began in Exchange Street in 2008, but James said customers seem to prefer a location on the city outskirts, with parking.
