Gozo Restaurant in St Gregory's Alley has proven an instant his with hungry diners, with customers flocking to the site since it opened last Tuesday.

Despite not taking table bookings for groups smaller than six people, the restaurant is fully booked on several evenings, leaving owner Ricardo Leguia amazed.

"We couldn't have asked for a better opening week than the one we had," he said.

"It was absolutely amazing. We've had an unbelievable launch.
