5 of Norfolk's biggest car boot sales to visit in 2026
With the weather turning warmer and the sun rising a little earlier, here are some of the biggest events for a rummage this spring.

When: Every Sunday, Wednesday and bank holiday Monday until November from March 22
Where: Old Stoke Road, Arminghall, Norwich, NR14 8SQ
The Arminghall Car Boot Sale has been a firm favourite among local bargain hunters for decades, often attracting up to 600 sellers.
Because of this, in September, The Sun newspaper dubbed it the "biggest and best" in the UK.
Buyers are welcome from 7.30am on Sundays and 6.30am on Wednesdays.
Sellers can arrive between 5.30am and 9am, and pitches cost £10 for cars and small vans, £13 for large vans, £15 for lutons and box trucks and £20 for extra-large lutons.

When: Every Sunday from April 12
Where: Banham Zoo car park, Kenninghall Road, Banham, NR16 2HE
After events in 2024 and 2025 proved such a huge success, the organisers of Banham Car Boot decided to ramp up the frequency of the sales this year, and they will now take place every Sunday morning until the end of the season in September.
Gates will open at 7am for sellers and 8am for buyers.
Standard pitches cost £7, while under-cover pitches and vans and trailers cost £10.
3. The Late One in Aylsham

When: Every Saturday and bank holiday Monday from March 7
Where: A field at the A140 junction with Burgh Road, opposite the BP Garage, NR11 6AR
The last event of 2025 was cancelled due to the wet weather, so it has been a particularly long wait for bargain hunters heading to The Late One in Aylsham.
Sellers will be welcome from 7am and buyers can come along from 11am.
A single pitch costs £8 while a double pitch and trailers cost £13.
Dogs are not permitted and there are refreshments and toilets on site.
4. Cherry Tree Car Boot

When: Every Sunday from April 5
Where: B1105 Barsham Road, Fakenham, Norfolk, NR21 9QS
The Cherry Treet Car Boot Sale has run for many years near Fakenham and will host weekly events until October.
All pitches across the site remain £5 each for any vehicle and trade is welcome, while visitors' entry is still 50p per car and comes with on-site parking.
The sale has a 7am start time for those hoping to 'catch the worm.'
5. Sprowston Park & Ride

Where: Sprowston Park & Ride, Wroxham Road, Sprowston, NR7 8RN
Sellers are urged to arrive early at Sprowston Car Boot, which takes place year-round and attracts a huge number of stallholders.
The event was the sister event to Harford Car Boot, which closed down permanently at the park and ride site in the south of Norwich last year.
Organisers suggest sellers arrive from 5:30am to 6am due to high demand and how quickly the site fills up.
Buyers can enter for free and it costs £10 per car or transit.
