The plans lodged by Castlemeadow Care will result in 36 bungalows being constructed next to the Lincoln House nursing home in Swanton Morley.

During a meeting this week, concerns were raised about the impact of the development on the surrounding roads and the loss of a well-used footpath across the land.

However, councillors ultimately voted in favour of the scheme going ahead.
