Broadland Council approved the development behind Newstead Gardens in Blofield at a meeting this week.

The scheme has been in the pipeline for more than three years and raised concerns among locals about the knock-on effect of several large housing projects.

Villagers expressed fears about increased traffic in the area and said GP services and schools were already at "bursting point".
