Councillors resist Norfolk town becoming Greater Norwich 'tentacle'
The idea of Wymondham forming part of a new Greater Norwich Council has been met with scepticism by locals.
Norfolk's councils all face abolition, with new authorities set to be created to replace them, as part of the Labour government's devolution and reorganisation plans.
The creation of a three-unitary model, which is favoured by City Hall and most of the districts, would see the existing Norwich City Council boundaries expanded to take on governance of suburbs such as Hethersett and Costessey.
