City Hall seeks views on hotel extension bid
The authority is spending £750,000 on drawing up plans for the future of the site, part of which is set to be developed for commercial use.
The new survey is designed to "shape different design ideas" including the refurbishment of the Grade-II* listed building and an extension to house a hotel complex or apartments.
The council is also considering which amenities would make City Hall "more appealing" to locals and tourists, including a cafe or restaurant and art displays.
