The Local Government Boundary Commission (LGBC) launched a review into the layout of Breckland Council last year in response to the growing population in the area.

It was suggested the authority should increase its number of councillors after it was found that more than a third of wards in the district were underrepresented.

Despite months of work on this review, councillors believe efforts will be to "no avail" due to imminent local government reorganisation.
