Samuel Chuter, of Craske Drive, Rackheath, near Norwich, died on February 21.

Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard his father had identified his son’s body to police officers.

Mr Chuter, who was born on October 12, 2002, in Ascot, Berkshire, was listed as being unemployed and his provisional cause of death was given as hanging following a post mortem.

Area coroner Yvonne Blake requested statements from police officers, Mr Chuter’s GP and substance abuse organisation Change Grow Live.

The family has also been invited to provide a pen portrait and a statement outlining any background or concerns they may have.

A full inquest to determine the official cause of death is due to take place at the court on July 31.
