He had several underlying health conditions which led to a decline in his mobility.

On February 10, he fell out of bed at home, before falling again on February 22.

After a day of bed rest, his family became concerned and called for an ambulance, which took him to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

He was placed on palliative care and died just days later on February 27.
