Woman's anger as NHS mental health crisis helpline call is met with laughter
The 31-year-old from King's Lynn had placed a call with the service, run by the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, for urgent support.
But she said the crisis worker on the other end of the line answered the phone in fits of laughter.
The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "I know people are allowed to laugh at work.
"But these people are dealing with vulnerable people who are at their crisis point. Some of whom........
