Michael Pearcey passed away on February 22 last year at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital at the age of 85, following surgery weeks earlier.

An inquest into his death ended on Tuesday, with area coroner Yvonne Blake giving a narrative conclusion which described Mr Pearcey's post-operative decline.
