Benjamin Court, a reablement centre providing "step-down" care for hospital patients, was shut in June 2023 and has sat empty since.

Health bosses have said they are unable to put the building back into use for commissioned services and are due to return it to NHS Property Service which will seek an alternative tenant for it.

But campaigners have now successfully fought for the building to be designated as an asset of community value.........
