As the county bucked a national trend by improving on 2024's pass rate, several schools say they have received their strongest results since the new numerical system came in.

At Wayland Academy in Watton, 80pc of pupils earned passing grades in both English and maths - while 64pc earned grades 5 and above.

The figures gave the school its strongest results on record.
