The owner of Sharrington Strawberries, located on the A148 near Holt, has had his dreams squashed by North Norfolk District Council who refused his bid to build a shop and café at his farm.

Simon Turner, who owns Sharrington Strawberries and submitted the plans, said the decision was "a great shame".

He now fears an uncertain future if the strawberry farm is unable to expand as a business.
