Airport officials raise bird strike concerns over bid for new homes on city outskirts
Safeguarding officers at Norwich Airport requested that bat and bird boxes were not included as part of the plans for Horsham St Faith as this would lead to "unacceptable increase in bird strike to aircraft".
The officers said they would be objecting to the plans until the condition was met.
Abel Homes is hoping for permission from the council to build the homes on farmland next to Church Street.
