Woman fears housing plan threatens 'thriving' woodland popular with dogwalkers
Jess Rodgers, 30, wants people to sign her appeal stopping development on land in Gorleston between the town's Recreation Ground and Meadow Park.
The land was once part of allotments which closed in the 1990s and has become home to apple and cherry trees, blackberry and gooseberry bushes, as well as foxes and muntjac deer.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council's local plan has allocated the site for residential development of approximately 70 houses.
