The facility, on the Street in Acle, sits outside Folly Tree House - a commercial block home to a convenience store, cafe and flooring shop - and offers 18 spaces, 11 of which are standard.

In recent months, however, a small but stubborn fleet of motorists has turned the site into a makeshift park and ride, leaving genuine customers unable to find a space.

A report prepared for Acle Parish Council states that unruly drivers are arriving before 7.30am and not leaving until late afternoon, with four to five spaces........
