Protesters march against Norwich hotel housing asylum seekers
The crowd, which included men, women and children, gathered at the Norkie pub in Bowthorpe on Sunday, August 31, before walking along the road to the Brook Hotel.
They chanted “Whose streets? Our streets” while songs including Common People by Pulp and Get Up, Stand Up by Bob Marley played from a car stereo.
Bev and Barry Goodson, from Norwich, said they joined the protest because they feel the government is ignoring them.
