Outcry over plans to transform rural estate into 'huge' holiday park
The plans would see the redevelopment of Browston Hall, a historic estate at Browston Green, near Gorleston, into a caravan park and spa complex capable of hosting up to 418 visitors.
The application has been submitted in two parts, referring to the east and the south side, with each being decided separately.
In the east, 50 lodges - classed as caravans - are planned with a new leisure facility, including ten-pin bowling, snooker, a golf simulator and cafe, taking shape in the existing, modern extension to listed Browston Hall.
