Lorraine and Paul Thompson are seeking retrospective approval to change the use of their property, the Black Barn on Market Lane in Filby, to a mixed-use leisure facility.

The proposal includes a spa, treatment rooms, a café and four holiday cabins with hot tubs.

Planning officers at Great Yarmouth Borough Council have recommended approval, despite objections from Norfolk County Council Highways and local residents.
