Cafe plans unveiled for disused historic town seafront building
But now Maritime House, a 19th century building on Marine Parade which has been empty for five years, could reopen as a cafe.
Kenzoku Holdings Ltd, a Norfolk-based firm that specialises in renovation work, is seeking permission from Great Yarmouth Borough Council to change the use of the building.
As well as the cafe on the ground floor, the application also includes plans for three apartments on the upper three floors.
