The A47 will be completely shut in both directions between the Honingham and Easton roundabouts from 8pm on Friday and 6am on Monday.

Diversion routes will be in place - taking motorists a total of 85 miles between the two roundabouts - and worried villagers have urged drivers to use those, rather than jamming up and damaging smaller rural roads.
