The buildings which used to house Cantley Primary School and Ten Mile Bank Riverside Academy in Downham Market, are next week likely to be declared surplus to the council's requirements.

Officers are recommending that the Conservative-controlled cabinet at County Hall should put the buildings up for sale on the open market, either through an auction or by tender.

Cantley Primary School was merged with Freethorpe Primary School in September, after it saw its pupil numbers drop.
