Bosses at Norfolk County Council said they are in the "latter stages" of putting together the planning application for a new recycling centre to serve Wymondham.

The town has been in line to get a replacement recycling centre since 2020.

But the scheme was caught up in delays because of the Covid-19 pandemic and what the council described as "complex technical issues", including the need to make sure the land where it would be built drains properly.
