Part of the under-construction A140 Long Stratton bypass was opened up to the public for a few hours on Saturday (August 2) for a community event.

People in the town have campaigned for decades to get the bypass and work, undertaken by Octavius Infrastructure on behalf of Norfolk County Council, started last year.
