Huge government boost for flagship Norfolk road scheme
Norfolk County Council has been told the government will provide up to £91.11m for the West Winch Access Road, which would connect the A47 and the A10 south of King's Lynn.

The 1.5 mile road would serve a planned 4,000-home development in the area and the Department for Transport's approval of County Hall's business case will unlock the bulk of the money for the scheme.
Conservative-controlled County Hall has faced an anxious wait for confirmation of the money for the £109m project, with the initial business case lodged in September last year.
