Norfolk County Council has confirmed Great Yarmouth's library in Tolhouse Street will shut on March 14.

The library is due to move The Place, a new multi-purpose hub being constructed in the former Palmers department store off the Market Place.

But that multi-million-pound project is not due to be completed until later in the spring, so there will be a short period when the town is without a permanent library.

There are plans to create a temporary, pop-up library in the town,........
