'Fantastic' boost for major Norfolk road scheme hailed
Norfolk County Council revealed this week that the government was backing its outline business case for the A10 West Winch Access Road - and will provide up to £91.11m towards the £109m scheme.
The 1.5-mile road, near King's Lynn, is seen as crucial to serve 4,000 new homes subject to separate plans being dealt with by West Norfolk Borough Council.

And the funding boost, which will be topped up through contributions from developers, has been given a warm welcome in the west of the county.
