The John Forrest Memorial Award funds a three-day residential training course in effective communications for eight selected agriculturalists, from 7-9 January 2026.

It aims to "improve communication and understanding between scientists, agricultural advisors, farmers and consumers", and to develop personal skills in those likely to become leaders in farming businesses and organisations in East Anglia.
