'Deeply generous' legacy gift helps buy amphibious reed-cutter for nature reserve

The Swedish-built Truxor machine is being used to maintain reed beds at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's coastal reserve at Cley and Salthouse Marshes.

The equipment cost more than £120,000, of which 60pc was funded with a grant from the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Programme, administered by the Norfolk Coast Protected Landscape on behalf of Defra.
