Work can start on new housing estate in second homes hotspot
Proposals to develop land on the edge of Burnham Market have cleared their final planning hurdle, with final conditions including drainage agreed with West Norfolk council.
Holkham Estate, which is behind the project off Creake Road, said in planning papers it will include two affordable homes, two properties to be rented out to local people and eight smaller family homes, including two bungalows suitable for older people wishing to downsize.
