Uniformed wardens could go on patrol in town centre plagued by anti-social behaviour
Wisbech Town Council has been offered funding to pay for the service, taken from the £20m in regeneration funding which was awarded to the town by the previous government.
Its minutes say: "The initiative is designed to improve the safety, vibrancy, and perception of Wisbech town centre, while strengthening engagement with the public and supporting local businesses."
