The Norfolk town which will soon be unable to bury its dead
A report to West Norfolk Council warns the long-term viability of Gayton Road Cemetery in King's Lynn is "under threat due to environmental constraints".
They include a high water table which has rendered more than half of its 5,400 plots "non-compliant" with ground water regulations enforced by the Environment Agency, leaving just 55 remaining.
