Row over scruffy garden at empty rectory as search for new vicar drags on
Locals have complained about the grounds of The Rectory at Old Hunstanton, where weeds are growing around the property and on its drive.
Old Hunstanton Parish Council describes the house as "uninhabited and uncared for".
It has asked the Diocese of Norwich, which owns the property opposite the village's 14th century St Mary's Church to ensure it is "properly cared for and maintained".

Parish chair Nick Eastwell said: "A couple of neighbours complained that the garden and gravel driveway of the rectory, uninhabited for quite some time now, are looking unkempt."
He added the house on Church Road looked "a little untidy and uninhabited".
One local said: "I know there have been complaints, they ought to do something about it."
He added the garden had not been regularly tended to since the previous vicar, Rev Rachael Dines, left in May, 2023.
