Plans for row of new homes next to busy road through village road thrown out

West Norfolk Council has refused plans to demolish an existing bungalow and its outbuildings and site three new properties beside the A134 at Wereham, near Downham Market.

A planning officer's report said the site was outside of the village's development boundary and described the scheme as "unjustified residential development in the countryside".

It added there was "substandard" turning space on the site, while the proposals would lead to "cramped development".
