Plans for new housing estate agreed despite flood of objections from villagers
West Norfolk Council has agreed proposals for 36 new properties in Gayton, near King's Lynn.
Gayton Developments has been given the go-ahead to build mixture of two, three and four-bedroom homes on the site off Back Lane.
It comes despite opposition from villagers, with more than 30 lodging objections with the council.
"Thirty-six houses equate to approximately 72 adults and the possibility of 120 - 200-plus children and young adults," one said.
"The doctor's surgery is possibly at compacity and in some cases patients are waiting at least three weeks for an appointment.
