Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club has been refused permission to build 48 holiday homes, a bird hide and a new lake at its complex near Wisbech.

A Fenland council planning officer's report said the development would result in "a disproportionately large-scale of tourist accommodation in comparison to the size and population of the village".
